Here in south-central Pennsylvania we farm rich, deep, sweet, limestone soils, primarily Hagerstown. Soil and water conservation, as well as, weed suppression is maintained through-out the yard by planting various ground covers and legumes. Legumes, manure and compost supplement our soils with any necessary nutrients. And Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is practiced as much as possible. We are continually scouting our yard; pruning, training, and tyeing-up plants. With good, solid agricultural practices, we are able to provide quality "flowers" worthy of Great Beer! Protecting the natural gifts of our land is a family value, born and bred into us....and we're Grateful!
